Sad news, he didn't make it. Shocking when a 22 year old kid just goes like that.

yes unreal stuff, really tragic. seemed like he would be ok after they treated him on the field but collapsed again in the locker room. RIP Antonio and all the best to his wife, 7 months pregnant. :(

real sad story, thought he was going to be ok after he left the field following his collapse on the field.

Very sad news. Seemed a decent player, and was just getting his chance with the Spanish national team. My heart really goes out to his family especially his wife, and soon to be born child.

doesn't it strike you odd at the fact that they didn't stretcher him off the field right away into an ambulance and straight to the hospital? Maybe they could have treated in the ambulance while that second cardiac arrest happened. Whether he's able to get up and walk off or not, when a player collapses the way he did you stretcher his ass out and keep him resting...
